Juliet is originally a very well equipped Hallberg Rassy. To ensure she stays well maintained a big effort is made to keep her in a pristine condition. This is done step by step with a few upgrades every season.

With the correct (preventive)maintenance your equipment becomes more reliable with the positive result of an overall more comfortable and safer operation when sailing private or with a bigger crew.

One of the first things to upgrade was sleeping comfort, new mattresses were selected to enhance sleeping comfort and "breathability" of the sleeping gear.

A new mattress is being measured, if you look closely at the ps and sb lower planks you can see discoloration, this caused by the old mattresses not being able to breath properly.  With the new mattresses this problem was solved immediately, with a much better sleeping comfort as result.

The spray hood was found to be leaking. Parts were sent to a sail maker for some repairs and renewals. after the repairs the spray hood and sail cover were washed and treated with a watertight repellent. No more leaks!

New set of sail, what a difference! Better performance better looks and a higher reliability.

Left preventive maintenance, a new water pump was installed.   Right; a little bit of help keeping Juliet neat tidy and dust free.

New lines. The old ones are still functional, however the new ones are better looking and more gentle to the hand palm when covered in salt water.

Upper rudder bearing old vs new. No more clearance in the steering wheel and more direct steering.

Left New toilet installed including new plumbing hoses.  Right A new freezer with 30L of freezing capacity.
